Summer time looks like it is her to stay. The AC stays on.

Some excitement at he graduation last night. One of the valedictorians changed his speech. It was supposed to be funny, came off rude and disparaging. There was a hint that my buddy Patrick was in on it.

John called, I am in. President and everything. The president election was more than a little surprising.

Went to the other middle school. There was much more interest in at least trying new things. There could be a bunch of kids in the Quick Start program.

Didn’t get in a hike thunderstorms lurking. Funny thing was we go very little rain. Some other areas had flood watches.

Judy had her Ya Ya dinner, so it was pretty quiet around here.

The summer type weather continues.

Went to Central Middle School to talk to the kids about soccer and tennis next year. The freshman soccer crop looks like there will be a few players, but not a big solid class.

There was one freshman to be for tennis. He at least looks like a tennis player, we will see. The eight graders to be don’t look too special, but the Quick Start program is designed to get them playing quickly. We will just have to see. The eight graders to be were interesting. It appears that whatever pops into their minds comes out their mouths.

Got the grass cut, probably should have gotten it done yesterday or the day before. night meetings in the spring are not a good thing.

Judy has here book club tonight. The basement for me.

Another nice warm day.

Met wit one of the Dillie sisters and her attorney. Don’t think she was impressed. No real deep questions, guess she was making sure there were no horns or tail. Her attorney just doesn’t get it. Won’t be surprised if this ends up dead locked.

Had the all area tennis meeting in the evening. Rhonda wanted me to run for president. Luckily the president has a two year term. The current is not up until next year, maybe she will forget about it.

Kind of a strange day, just kind of waited for the meeting with the Dille’s. The family is really divided on the project for the farm. I will probably be the fallout, no work. Won’t be disappointed, they could be real tough to work for. Only one of the brothers and his son showed up for the meeting. One brother was on the phone from Hawaii, nice vacation spot. Most of the sisters were also on the phone. Not sure why the could not come, they all live in the area. I am going to meet with one or some of the sisters tomorrow with their attorney. Kind of strange.

Beautiful day, a little humid from all the rain that fell. Giving us the first real feel of what summer will be like.

Went to church and was going to go hiking right away, but was tired. Ate breakfast and took a nap for a while. Then went to the Narrows. The parking lot was full. Really didn’t se too many people. The trails weren’t too muddy, just a pleasant walk.

Picked up Dave’s old grill. Hopefully the tank I have will work on it.
