Rain, bunches of rain. I don’t think it stopped raining all day long. There is a flood warning for most of the counties to the west, but interestingly enough not for Greene.

Spent the day at Judy’s OASN conference watching the silent auction. It seemed to be pretty successful, especially when you compare it to past years. It went so well they are paying for Judy’s room. They are trying to entice her to do it again next year. I guess I will see.

Ran into George Oberer, the deal with the Meads fell apart after I left. The no-it-alls in Jacksonville screwed it up. It first started in 2006, they finally resolved it yesterday with a complete split.

Got the spit coat on the dulcimer. The wood is going to look real good when it is finished. The alcohol fumes are a little strong.

Guess I am going to bed early tonight. It’s time to spring forward.

The weather stayed gray with some real tough fog this morning, but the rain stayed away. I got a full practice in.

The OHSAA showed how bad they really are. They decided that Wayne is still eligible even though they had two ineligible players. The decision was questionable, but the real problem was the way they handled the announcement. We were told there would be no decision until this morning. Well the decision was in the paper this morning. Kevin heard it was on the 6:00 o’clock news. They never bothered to call. Kevin was with Jeff this morning and they called the OHSAA. Very unprofessional.

Ud had Xavier by fifteen with eight minutes to go, loose by five. What a year. Disappointing for everyone. Key mistakes by seniors cost them again. No NCAA this year, NIT here they come.

It was nice morning and as the day went on it got cloudier and cloudier and then finally 45 minutes into practice the rain finally came. Good news we got some practice in.

The dulcimer for Sidney came. It’s pretty nice. I wasn’t sure what to expect for a plywood instrument the way people talked about them on the internet. It really isn’t that much different from my dulcimer. The finish wasn’t much, so the wax I got really picked it up.

I cleaned up and put new strings on my dulcimer. It’s looking good and the new strings did help the sound. The wax helped cover up the scratches. Glad I got the guitar cleanup kit it really worked well on the dulcimer.

Judy headed out for her OASN conference at the Marriott. She will be happy when its over her car was packed.

Rainy morning really nice afternoon and evening.

Filled in for Kevin at the GWOC meeting. Strange bunch, I don’t get the feeling they are all that professional. They are looking to negotiate a new contract with the soccer officials without complete information. I asked what were other local associations getting and they had not checked out all of the obvious ones. I don’t know how you can negotiate a contract without complete information. Just a simple example of a number of things.

Tennis practice was interesting today. I had twenty-one guys again today, but not the same twenty-one from Monday. Three wrestlers, two sophomores and a freshman. I don’t know how many I will actually end up with.Kind of a slow night, didn’t work on the dulcimer, but I did pick the guitar some.

Someone tried to help me some by shoveling some of the snow on the last court, unfortunately they kind of spread it out making it more work for me to get the court clear. Al little more work, but I will not be unhappy not to have to do that again.

Not as sunny today, but I wore shorts for the first time this year. It looks good for the weather tomorrow, but rain appears to be on the way. Hope we get in more than just tomorrow for tennis.

Worked on the new lesson. I think it will take me awhile to get the hang of the new stuff he is teaching.
