Did get to hike today after three days in the basement. Did the short up and back loop to get some more work in to hopefully be able to handle the rarified air on Rainier with Paul.

Humidity was really high today. It’s a good thing the temperature was not real high. I was really soaked when I finished cutting the grass. The mower is now a push mower, no drive left.

Watched an episode of Archer for the first time tonight, don’t get it.

Got my Father’s Day card from Tim today. It was really nice, he put a note in it and didn’t write on the card. Tim suggested I resend the card  to someone else, maybe he or Paul? Grand kids someday. Maybe?

Rain again, back to the basement to the exercise bike and weights.

Nice easy day. The weather didn’t cooperate much today, rain for a good part of the morning. No hike today, worked on the exercise bike for an hour.

Judy’s Mom and Dad came over and we grilled out.

Got to talk to Paul in the morning as he headed back to the mountain. Tim and Jen did a FaceTime while Judy’s Mom and Dad were here. It was real nice to see them both.

Kevin, had a party tonight thanking me for my work at Xenia. He and Amy went to a lot of trouble and cooked an unbelievable amount of food. Mark was a lot of fun with all of his stories. It was nice to see everybody again.

Terry missed his test by 2 points, so he probably won’t get to go back to Xenia.

I was thinking about the OhioHikes.info and how it was limiting the possibilities especially since I am heading to the west coast and will be hopefully getting some hikes in out there.

To improve on the idea I bought AmericaHikes.info. This gives the site much broader appeal and I can use OhioHikes.info stuff in it.

I asked the guys to add stuff to it as well. Maybe for Tim even the less than obvious urban hikes.
