Kids in the neighborhood were having a good time yelling down into the sewers trying to see if they could hear each other. They were having a great time. One of the kids was going to go all the way down to the pond to hear if he could pick anyone up.

Temperature heading up again. I’m pretty sure we skipped spring and went straight to summer. The humidity is starting to kick. Hope the AC doesn’t die or Judy will be miserable.

Warmed up a bunch today. Still worked outside for awhile. Got the power washer out and tried cleaning the cushions. It did a decent job getting the moss off, but left quite a bit to be desired on the cleaning front. Well, I guess it’s up to Judy if she wants to make covers or not. Also cleaned the railing at the end by the door.

Went to Home Depot and got the lumber for the shelves I’m making for the garage. Home Depot will break down the lumber you buy, so I had them break down the plywood I was using for the shelves. That’s a great service, made it way easier on me, as well as safer. I would have struggles a bit using my circular saw and table saw. Now all I need to do is make them.

Made the top sirloin steaks Judy got at Costco for dinner. I used the sous vide machine, makes steak easy. They turned out pretty well.

We’re trying to find some new shows to watch since we have finished there seres we have been watching. The first two we tried were duds, but the third has possibilities. Its called Brokenwood Mysteries. It’s set in a small town in New Zealand. An older curmudgeon trying to restart his life and a local young lady are the main characters. It was definitely better than the first two we picked, but they are an hour and a half in length which makes them a little drawn out. We’ll see.

Pretty much a picture perfect day, low humidity and temperate temperatures. The weather forecast says it will be heating up again tomorrow, with more humidity. Don’t really mind the heat, but could do without the humidity.

Watched a YouTube video on the Matrix to try to understand the three movies. No joy there. The writers for that movie were way deep in the weeds for me.

Put weed killer on the front yard, maybe I can get rid of the pesky weeds that are left. Trimmed up the remaining bushes and pulled weeds, that won’t be the last time I need to pull weeds from those beds.

It was a beautiful day today, sunny with a high around seventy with a low in the low fifties, almost no humidity. Would be nice if the whole summer was like this. Looks like we’ll get one more day of this before the heat and humidity returned.

Spent almost two hours working with the Hostmonster folks trying to get their site to work for me. Appears to be a problem with how they deal with Apple mobile devices. Had no problem when I accessed them on a Windows machine.

Took Papaw on a ride to Houston Woods State Park. He had never been there before. We took KFC back to his house for dinner. We sat outside for dinner. Popcorn spotted two rabbits. She just stared and stared. She was so focused sometimes she would just vibrate.

We FaceTimed with both the Washington and Portland crew. Eugene was up in his fort, that’s a real college place for him. Sawyer was cute as ever, full of energy. Tim showed Papaw his new truck and camper, very impressive.

We’re watching the third of the three Matrix movies tonight. So far, the first is definitely the best.

Slept a little better last night, but still not what I would like. Maybe a little Benadryl tonight.

Quite around school today. Jared is at an AD’s meeting again today. It will be interesting to see how the AD’s are reacting to the OHC’s brush off of the CBC.

The new iPhone is kind of big in my pocket, but I like the size it is very easy to read. The iPhone 6+ would have been too big to deal with.

Not sure what I was doing wrong with the accordion I was building for the coaches’ website. I could not get it to work so I used the demo one and filled in my information. That worked, not sure what I was doing different than the demo. Now I just have to get all the details I want to include beyond what I have.

Made some killer corned beef for dinner.
